Ionic detoxification, some times known as a detoxification footbath, is a great treatment therapy that will not only help restore the balance of energy to the body's systems, but will help to draw out heavy metals and metabolic toxins that cause many diseases.  The mechanism for removal of toxins is different from chelation in that ionic detoxification removes toxins and heavy metals externally.  By placing the feet in a warm bath of saltwater the body naturally opens the pores in the feet.  A metal array is lowered into the water and a light current of electricity is introduced into the water.  This current ionizes the water, which causes an imbalance of energy between the body and the water.  The body tries to equalize this balance of energy by releasing toxins and heavy metals into the water which neutralizes the imbalance of the water.  This is the same ionic-chemical transfer that happens when you walk along the edge of the ocean.  This procedure is very refreshing and invigorating.  Ionic Detoxification is one of the easiest and most reasonable options for those of you who are looking to get those nasty toxins out of the body.   There aren't a lot of places around that perform this treatment.  If you are having a hard time finding someone to perform this service and you are truly interested in detoxifying on a regular basis, you might want to consider purchasing your own system.
